With a Ph.D., Dr. Carlton Calhoun has achieved a lot in his career. He has not only accomplished success in terms of availing the highest level of education, but also used his skills and capabilities to launch his own business in 2001, where he worked on providing web designing services. However, during his journey, Carlton quickly realized that without a solid financial education, a Ph.D. would simply stand for “piled high in debt”. As a result, even though his business started picking up steam, he shifted his focus towards financial education so that he can have a better grasp at the management of money.
When Carlton started taking more interest in finance, he was surprised to come across the fact that there are still a lot of people who don’t know much about money and finances. And because of this reason, they are a target to many issues related to money and also miss out on multiple opportunities attached to it. Thus, seeing the deficiency of knowledge in the field, Carlton decided to change this and started working on equipping people with the skill of multiplying money. He believed that unless one majors in finance, our education system does not teach much about money. Therefore, using this fact as a base, Carlton started the mission to help as many people as possible to shift not only their mindset about how money is made, but also help them learn a skill that would help them multiply their money. As a result, he felt that he could help people earn money from the neck up, and not the neck down where they trade time for money.
After working towards this mission for a while, Carlton has now successfully established a trading and investing community that helps people learn how to multiply their money through trading, investing, and e-commerce. This way he is also able to assist people in supplementing their income through multiple financial strategies.
