Kendrick is the CEO of the company, 5 Starr Enterprise which specializes in community outreach, educational services, and community engagement. He was born and raised in Baltimore and is a professional DJ. One of the things he feels really strongly about, which paved the way for his entrepreneurial journey is S.T.E.A.M (Science Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and the importance of being promoted across all diverse groups within America. Being an educator and advocate of STEAM, he founded a non profit the BE MORE STEM foundation inc., which empowers communities to play a more active role in promoting the curriculum of S.T.E.A.M.
He believes this will help create better opportunities in advanced education while contributing to a much more diverse workforce. Lack of diversity in the workforce is a social dilemma and Kendrick’s business centers around the eradication of this problem in the future.
Apart from being an educator, he is a professional DJ known by the name DJ 5 Starr and believes in the integration of his DJ skills in teaching STEM. He works as a DJ for marketing and events like weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, health fairs, spiritual events, educational events, and conferences.
Kendrick has achieved tremendous appreciation for his work and won many awards. He has been awarded Lifetime Achievement Award, numerous STEM awards, the Rising Star Award, Community Hero Award, and many more.

Kendrick’s passion is to create a prosperous environment for future children and engage them with STEAM to enrich their potential of changing the world for the better. He wishes to make education interesting and fun, especially subjects like science and math so that more children can explore their skills as engineers and researchers of science. Kendrick’s passion and purpose go hand in hand. He aspires to create a world where people can earn freely, irrespective of their background, and help people attain financial freedom in life.
Kendrick resides in Baltimore with his wife and aims to further expand his business over time and scale it further to make a lasting impact on the community.
