John Jackson is a wine influencer who has grabbed the attention of social media for the high quality wines that he tastes and shares with his followers, which include some of the best and most valuable wines in the world. He collects wine bottles as a hobby while being a well-accomplished attorney and partner with a large law firm.
John developed his hobby of wine collection more than 15 years ago. While attending a business dinner back in 2007, John had a chance to taste an Opus One from Napa. It was this experience with a special bottle of wine that triggered John’s passion. A short time later, John visited Napa County in California to visit wineries and learn more about wine. Since that time, John tries to visit at least three wine regions a year and has now visited more than 40 different wine producing regions in numerous countries around the world.

In addition to the practical knowledge obtained from his travels and tasting experience, John pursued formal wine education as well and has obtained the prestigious level 4 certification (DipWSET) from London-based Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).

John has been working with different wine brands on Attorney Somm as well. Recently, he collaborated with Dr. Tiffany Moon, from season 5 of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Dallas, to discuss her wine launch of ‘Three Moons Wine’. Since then, Dr. Moon and Attorney Somm have published several more entertaining videos, including celebrity wine reviews. John also conducted a virtual wine tasting video with Ambassador Kathryn Walt Hall, in which they discussed the approach that Napa-based Hall Wines takes to grape growing and wine making.
