During the chaotic blur of everyday existence, more often than not, we resort to food choices that are quick and, at times, even unhealthy. These are usually highly processed foods with high calories and little nutrition. Regrettably, we tend to overlook their detrimental effects on our health. However, with people like Carrie Drinkwine working on reshaping the mindset around healthy eating, there is still hope to learn how to change our diet gradually.

To prioritize nutrition-dense foods over low-nutrition options, Carrie reshifts the focus on natural, quick sources like fruits and vegetables and organic superfoods, emphasizing their value. She propagates the idea of comprising these natural resources in diets. Additionally, she takes a step further. Carrie educates the public about how to consume these resources by combining them based on their chemical energies.

She completely breaks down the importance of proper food combinations, which are the foundation of a healthy gut and digestive system. In her TikTok video, she explains that melons are 97% water and leave the stomach lining in minutes. However, when combined with fruits like apples and bananas, which take approximately 30 minutes to digest, they quickly lead to fermentation, bloating, and gas.

She further discusses how we can benefit from combining acidic fruits like pineapples, oranges, peaches, etc., and sub-acidic fruits like apples, berries, grapes, etc. She keenly stresses that these acidic or sub-acidic fruits should never be paired with sweet fruits like bananas, dates, or figs and how we should be taking them at the end of the food consumption window.

In another video, Carrie enlightens us about the general order in which we should consume food. As they digest the fastest, we should eat fruits first and separately. Then we should move to vegetables and pair them with either starch like grains, beans, etc., or proteins like tofu, eggs, etc. However, she emphasizes that one shouldn’t consume starch and proteins together as they create a mucoid plaque substance which can lead to gas, bloating, abdominal pains, and constipation.

Carrie primarily focuses on the fruits in the food groups as they clean out lymphatic waste, alkalize tissues and cells, and are loaded with antioxidants that balance out free radical damage and oxidative stress. These benefits lead to hydration, healing, and restoration of cellular health.

Using her social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, Carrie is spreading awareness about how natural resources benefit optimal health.
