Wanting to become an entrepreneur and having an entrepreneurial mindset are two different things. An entrepreneurial mindset is a specific set of knowledge, beliefs, and thought processes. People with an entrepreneurial mindset are self-driven, highly engaged, resourceful, and critical thinkers. They are usually solution-oriented. Although some people are born with entrepreneurial mindsets, Brendan Boyd, a high-performance productivity coach, believes that it is a learned behavior that can also be developed through effort and proper guidance.
Brendan is running online coaching services that provide thorough guidance and mentoring to entrepreneurs and reshaping their mindsets and being better at their businesses. He had a journey long and bouncy enough to make him the right person to mentor an entrepreneur. He is an entrepreneur who has proven skills in the field of basketball, real estate, fashion, and online coaching.
Brendan’s success story is not as smooth as it appears. He had his fair share of failure and disrupted life events. From a very unusual childhood with no parental care and attention and only a grandmother who raised him, he faced the death of his loved ones in his early teens when he lost both his parents and his grandmother. The circumstances called for his survival instincts and Brendan lost himself in the game of Basketball.
Basketball was the first step towards his long road of entrepreneurship. He started creating basketball leagues in summers and fall for 6 years and soon enough he launched his streetwear brand with his business partner. The business was doing great until it started demanding more experience and better management. Brendan lost his booming business to his inexperienced and poor organization. He later moved to residential real estate and spent 6 years in the industry.
2020 was the time when Brendan gave in to his inner calling and started the coaching services for entrepreneurs. He knows from his experience that only wanting to become an entrepreneur is not enough. So he started providing the mentorship he never got a chance to get in his time. He offers the ‘Daily Beast’, a 90-Day program to reshape the mindset of entrepreneurs and provide measurable and trackable results in real time.
Brendan believes that by focusing on their mind, body, energy and business (MBEB), entrepreneurs not only can excel in their business but also lead better personal lives.
